There are a number of ways you can support North Coast Health Ministry - from financial contributions to volunteering your time. No contribution is too small, and every little bit helps! Here are some of the ways that you can support us in providing health care to the uninsured...
Volunteers:
Volunteer behavioral health therapists. Minimum requirement is a Master’s degree in a behavioral health related discipline and ability to provide therapy at least 2 hours/week. Minimum six-month commitment. Contact Sharon Tipton at (216) 228-7878 ext. 108.
Volunteer nurses willing to be trained to be on NCHM’s substitute nurse roster – to fill clinic staffing gaps due to vacation, sick days, etc. Contact Mary Ludwig at (216) 228-7878 ext. 122.
Volunteer physicians and nurse practitioners for day, evening and weekend clinics. Specialists and primary care practitioners needed. Contact Mary Ludwig at (216) 228-7878 ext. 122.
Volunteers willing to organize toiletry drives for NCHM patients at churches, schools or other community groups. Contact Jeanine Gergel at (216) 228-7878 ext. 107.
Volunteers that enjoy planning parties to help us with our Silver Celebration gala and our spring and fall mini-fundraising events. Contact Jeanine Gergel at (216) 228-7878 ext. 107.
Volunteers willing to help with periodic special projects, such as mailings. Contact Jeanine Gergel at (216) 228-7878 ext. 107.
Dentists willing to take referrals from North Coast Health Ministry for patients with critical dental care needs. Contact Mary Ludwig at (216) 228-7878 ext. 122.

Ostomy supplies (e.g., small pouches)
Lithium batteries (FDK Cr2032 3V)
Blood pressure cuffs (adult size)
Arkray diabetic test strips (cost to NCHM: $11 per box of 50)
Nursing 2011 Drug Handbook with Online Toolkit ($29.30)

Grocery cards (in increments of $5 and $10) – Giant Eagle or Marc’s
RTA Bus/Rapid FareCards
Gas cards (in increments of $5 and $10)
Toiletries (new only please) – toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, lotion, etc.
