IMPORTANT MESSAGE: NORTH COAST HEALTH MINISTRY WILL BE CLOSED FROM MAY 21 THROUGH MAY 28. WE WILL RE-OPEN ON TUESDAY, MAY 29. PLEASE WATCH FOR MORE INFORMATION!
CHANGE TO WALK-IN ON MAY 29!! REMEMBER, NCHM IS CLOSED MAY 21 through MAY 28!
Beginning May 29, North Coast Health Ministry will replace the daily walk-in to see a provider to a CALL- IN for same-day appointments. If you are a NCHM patient and need to see a provider, CALL 216.228.7878 and dial “0” beginning at 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday for an appointment that same day. Instead of waiting in line to find out when you will be seen, you will have a scheduled appointment and come to the Clinic at that time. Unlike walk-in, which is only in the morning, same-day appointments will be available throughout the day. If you call near the end of the day, you may be offered an appointment for the next day.
NCHM hours are 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. The Clinic is closed every Thursday between 12:30 pm – 2 p.m.
If you are not a current NHCM patient, you may be eligible for services if you are:
- Without health insurance;
- Living on a limited income; and
- Live in northwestern Cuyahoga and northeastern Lorain counties.
Please call 216.228.7878, extension 127 for more information.
North Coast Health Ministry, a faith-based free clinic, provides healthcare services to low-income individuals in western Cuyahoga and eastern Lorain counties.
For 25 years, North Coast Health Ministry (NCHM) has been providing healthcare to uninsured people living on Cleveland's West Side. As faith-based free clinic, we are a bridge to better health for almost 3,000 individuals who have no other place to go. With the support of dozens of volunteer physicians and nurses, as well as clerical volunteers, NCHM is able to provide primary health care, specialty referrals, prescription assistance, preventative and chronic disease management, medical tests, behavioral/mental health counseling and health education to low-income individuals and families. Each year, the demand for our services grows. During the past two years alone, patient visits increased by nearly 40%. We are grateful that the generosity of others has enabled us to provide essential health services to our neighbors in need. |
